Fire Marshal's Office Inspection List
The following inspections will be done by our Bureau of Fire Prevention and Education.
Most of these inspections take at least 2 hours, so plan accordingly. (** - indicates inspection may be lengthy)

About the Department
The Hinesville Fire Department utilizes two fire stations and is comprised of 58 paid members and two administrative staff. Chief Robert Kitchings has a proactive approach to fire prevention, training and education. The Hinesville Fire Department has an Insurance Services Office (ISO) Public Protection Classification (PPC) rating of Class 3.

Fire Reports
Fire incident reports are available one week after the incident date. Reports can be picked up Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. at Fire Station 1, located at 304 S. Commerce Street.
Recycling
The Hinesville Fire Department recycles aluminum, for the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation. The Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation is dedicated to educating the public, supporting medical facilities and assisting burn survivors.
If anyone in the community wishes to contribute to this worthy cause, please deposit your aluminum in the trailer located in the parking lot of Fire Station No. 1, at 308 S. Commerce Street. To learn more about the Georgia Firefighters Burn Foundation, please visit their website.
