Parents can bring by car seats for firefighters to inspect and kids can meet Hinesville firefighters and see the fire trucks! This event is part of Hinesville's Georgia Cities Week 2019 celebration.   2. Georgia Cities Week 2019 Event: Coffee With a Cop Pt 1

    Join us for a morning of coffee and fun with Hinesville's finest during Coffee with a Cop on Tuesday, April 23 from 8 - 11 a.m. at McDonald's on Hwy 84. Kids and parents will be able to meet Hinesville police officers and the Hambuglar, while kids can also play on the PlayPlace and color! This event is free and open to the public. Coffee with a Cop is happening as a part of Hinesville's celebration of Georgia Cities Week 2019. There will be a SECOND occurrence of this event on Sunday, April 28 from 8 - 11 a.m. at the McDonald's on Hwy 84.

    Join City of Hinesville staff for "Getting to Know You" - tours of City Hall - on Wednesday, April 24. Tour attendees should meet guides in front of City Council Chambers.     Join us as we partner with Live Oak Public Library - Hinesville for Story Time at City Hall on Wednesday, April 24 beginning at 2 p.m. in the 3rd floor Meeting Room. Kids can learn about hometowns and local government and then design their own city with paper, paint and sponges! This event is free and open to the public.   6. Georgia Cities Week 2019: Downtown Stroll

    April 26, 2019, 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM @ Bradwell Park

    Join us for the Downtown Stroll on Friday, April 26 from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. in Bradwell Park. Attendees can enjoy a Touch-a-Truck area for kids to see vehicles from the Hinesville Fire Department, Hinesville Police Department and Public Works Department - along with meet some of the staff that drives them! Children's activities will be set up in Bradwell Park, including self-serve games (like corn hole) and sidewalk chalk. Additionally, we will be painting rocks for the City's Hinesville Rocks! initiative (coming May 2019). Finally, the Healthy Hinesville campaign will kickoff with walks through the downtown area and through the Old Jail. Walks will begin at the gazebo in Bradwell Park at 5:45 and 6:15 p.m. and take approximately 45 minutes. This event is free and open to the public.   7. Great American Cleanup 2019

    Join us as we partner with Keep Liberty Beautiful for the 2019 Great American Cleanup from 8:30 a.m. - noon on Saturday, April 27 in Bradwell Park. We will be cleaning up the downtown area. Volunteers will receive vests, gloves, bags, etc., along with lunch upon the completion of the cleanup. Pre-registered volunteers will receive a t-shirt.
