Hippity hoppity your way into the Easter season with the HDDA's Big Easter Egg Hunt!
Kids all ages will have a blast during the annual Big Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 4 from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Olvey Field! On top of egg hunts, kids and families can enjoy inflatables, listening to music, playing lawn games and more.
Egg hunt times and details will be posted to our website, along with this Facebook group and the City of Hinesville's website, by Friday, March 6.

Join us for some psychedelic yoga flow at Glowga (or glow-in-the-dark yoga)!
On Friday, April 10, Healthy Hinesville and the YMCA are teaming up for a Friday night yoga experience at the Y like you've never seen before! Yoga enthusiasts at all levels are invited to participate in blacklight yoga and kick off your weekend in the right way. We will provide the glow-in-the-dark paint and you wear your best neon and come ready to stretch!
Painting and the event will begin at 7 p.m. and yoga kicks off at 7:30 p.m. The class will end at 9 p.m.

We all know about the Gap - the grassy spot between two buildings that is kind of, sort of on the corner of S. Main Street and MLK Drive in Hinesville.
From April - September 2020, the HDDA invites you to join us for Downtown Gap Parties as we celebrate our downtown with music, food and fun!
Gap Parties will be held from 5 - 9 p.m. and feature a rotating lineup of local musicians and food trucks, along with plenty of grassy spots to sit and hang out with friends and family for a few hours. Even enjoy a drink and lawn games while you take in the sights and sounds of downtown Hinesville!

Sunday, April 19: Coffee with a Cop from 8 a.m. - noon at various locations around Hinesville
Monday, April 20: "Heart of Hinesville" Photography Exhibition opens at the Old Liberty County Jail from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. every day until Friday, April 24.
Tuesday, April 21: Tuesday Tunes event "ribbon cutting" at 11 a.m. in Bradwell Park
Tuesday, April 21: "Heart of Hinesville" Photography Reception from 5:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the Old Liberty County Jail
Thursday, April 23: Mayor Brown's "State of the City" Address at the Chamber of Commerce's Progress Through People Luncheon
Friday, April 24: Closing of the "Heart of Hinesville" Photography Exhibition at 2 p.m.

Grab some lunch and make plans to join us on select Tuesdays from April - August for Tuesday Tunes in Bradwell Park!
The HDDA is pleased to announce that on select Tuesdays Hinesville residents will be able to grab lunch from a local food truck/vendor and listen to some FREE music in Bradwell Park from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m.
We will be posting in our Facebook event 1 week prior to each Tuesday Tunes as a reminder, complete with a listing of our musicians and food trucks. A line up for the season will be available on our website and at cityofhinesville.org by the end of March 2020.

Join us for a FREE exhibition and reception honoring the entries and winners of the "Heart of Hinesville" photography contest!
The "Heart of Hinesville" photography contest is accepting entries through March 27 - with the winner selected via Facebook voting by April 10. Winners of the contest will receive prizes from the City of Hinesville - with first prize having their photograph featured on the cover of this year's Popular Annual Financial Report. A "Best in Show" prize will also be awarded by the HDDA during the reception.
