MISSION STATEMENT
Our mission is to provide a neutral and transparent forum for the resolution of Municipal Court matters that preserves the rule of law and ensures due process to all defendants.
About the Court
The Municipal Court has jurisdiction over most misdemeanor traffic offenses and local ordinance violations that occur within the city limits of Hinesville. The Court also has jurisdiction (with certain statutory exceptions) in misdemeanor offenses of underage possession of alcohol, possession of marijuana (less than one ounce) and theft by shoplifting (less than $500.00).
Our goal is to provide the highest quality customer service that is efficient, effective and in a professional manner.
The staff of the Municipal Court is available to assist you with procedures and questions pertaining to court including payment of fines and fees. Please be aware that our staff cannot answer legal questions, nor give legal advice regarding what to do with your case. If you need legal advice, please consult with an attorney of your choice as our staff cannot make recommendations.

There is a $2.00 charge for a Court Certified Disposition. Failure to pay the invoice within 30 days, could result in payment being required prior to Certified Disposition being completed.
